Projection TVs suffer from burn in much, much quicker than CRT TVs. It may take days on a CRT. Who is gonna leave on their TV for days.

If you consider this as consoles ruining TVs, then consider this as well, Widescreen movies ruin CRTs and Plasmas as well. Not sure about projection - don't think so.

It's just a limitation in the technology. Buy a good TV, not a crappy one.

You're a little off base. First you need to clarify what projection TV you're talking about. A crt rear projection, sure it can suffer burn-in. An LCD rear projection, no, not going to suffer burn-in, same goes for a DLP rear projection, if it's just mirrors reflecting light onto a screen, how is it going to burn in? I'll leave my DLP or my LCD on for hours playing forza or or halo 2, but I will never have to worry about burn-in.
