Xbox 360 Pro (HDMI + 20GB HDD) for $300AR at Office Depot

I think you have to goto the store to order it.

Orders for configured game consoles must be placed at a U.S. Office Depot® retail store. Actual product available by shipping only. Shipping times may vary.

Shipping and handling additional. Price for game console configuration shown. Changing the configuration may alter price and mail-in savings eligibility. Orders for configured game consoles must be placed at a U.S. Office Depot® retail store
Sounds like that only applies if you change the configuration.

This deal is a Mail-In Rebate thing, so you still have to fork over $350 dollars and let them play with your money for 8wks. Once you add the Halo3 combo, its like getting a wireless controller for free.

I can't figure out how to order the darn thing... all I can do is add it to my "shopping list," not my shopping cart. It looks like you do have to go to the store to order...

Hmmm...looks like you are right. I'll update the OP.

Called CS. It looks like you have to purchase it in-store. But, it also has to be delivered.

I'm guessing these are the non-bundled sets that they're trying to get rid of now that the holiday bundles are coming out. So they're probably not Falcon's either IMHO. But then again, who knows?

I went to my local OD and unsuccessfully tried to purchase the Xbox.

Does Office Depot accept coupons from Competitors?

Yes. Coupons are accepted in-store only. Acceptance of coupons from the Competitors is subject to the terms and conditions listed on the coupon. .

They have to agree to the terms and conditions of the coupon they are accepting.

The terms and conditions of the coupon of the staples coupon only excludes computer, laptop, gift cards, phone cards and postage stamps.

OD doesn't want to honor their Low Price Guarantee...

I want to take this up with a lawyer. Do any of you guys know where I can start? What kind of lawyer should I look for? Know of any good consumer advocate lawyer in Los Angeles?

Thanks.

I'm pretty sure you don't have a case. First of all, Office Depot would probably contend tha the 360 falls under "computer" since they're selling it from their CTO stations (Custom to Order Computers). Also, most places require other stores to have the exact same product "in stock" to be eligible for a price-match. Since Staples doesn't carry the 360 (as far as I know), it wouldn't be included under "Low Price Guarantee." Since you're not matching a price.
