Amazon.com / ToysRUs.com has both versions of the XBox 360 available for preordering with no extra bundle purchase necessary. The Deluxe System is $399.99 and the Core System is $299.99. With everyone else requiring expensive bundles, these will sell out fast.
 
Saw this late last night... it's barely posted anywhere yet.

Doesn't have the media remote, but it's probably just a misprint.
 
does this mean you can only get it shipped? so techincally a few days after it comes out? Or do you think Toys R US B&M carries this deal?

i want this bad but no time to play even my xbox and ps2 now with modded and cough free cough games. having a job sucks 😛
i wonder how long till they crack the 360 😀
 
I just ordered mine. I really hate paying tax for online orders, but its better than spending 2x the amount and get games I don't even want.

Haha, yea.
Gamestop with there $2000 bundle! You get 4 controllers, but you only get 1 play and charge cord. For 2K you would expect 4 of those cords.


 
I already have my Xbox360.....it's called a 7800GT. I haven't seen any upcoming game for either PS3 or XBox360 that looks interesting in the slightest. I'll take AoeIII, FEAR, Quake 4, UT 2007, and City of Villains FTW thank you very much.

there are games on consoles that you cant play on PC, and the same applies the other way around.

I really don't understand the point of this comment. I'm interested in getting a 360 so this thread is of interest to me. Just because you don't like the selection of games doesn't mean that the console holds no value to anyone.

7800GT is just a graphic card...
You don't get 4 controller (ports) with that, mobility, or the ability to play on a big screen TV unless you really wanted to drag the computer to the living room. Yes some people do play games on a 24" + LCD so I guess that is a plus.

The bundled systems are a JOKE, but the novices & soccer moms will fall for it & throw away their money on the garbage bundles.

Little Johnny will beg & plead for it, so they'll get it.

If the companies weren't so convinced this would happen, we wouldn't see so many bundle options.

Only the gamerz & veterans will buy everything they need individually. It's interesting how the gamerz & veterans are not the focal point of advertising for this system.
