why would they include a 64mb memory card when the 20gb hard drive is portable?

Because to my knowledge the hard drives aren't hotswappable. Even if they were hotswappable, this way you could take say a character or small save file like that and be able to load more than one at a time (since if you had your save on your drive and your friend had his save on his, I don't know if you could load them both at the same time).

But yeah, seems a little redundant that they even are using memory cards. Would've been much nicer if they would've just included a CF/SD slot.

The memory cards are for those who don't want the hard drive. They save on the cards instead of the drive.

They did the same thing when the PSP's were released.

$500 bundles of their most marked up accessories and some crappy games.

WTF? I just want the system and Madden.

that's not gonna happen

It can if you go B&M. B&M stores usually do not do these crazy bundles. IF they do a bundle, you can choose your games. These online pre orders wouldn't be so bad except they are forcing you to buy games. We are all gonna buy a couple games when it comes out. The ability to choose is whats important and thats why you go B&M. Online sites should let you choose but for some reason, they aren't. It's bad business.

Is it really even worth buying systems these days? Everytime I buy a system I barely use it since most of the stuff comes to PC anyways (sans a few games like Zelda).
