Ok, so amazon has just the system for sale in Europe, but nothing in the US. And EBgames.com and GameStop.com both only have the $600 and $700 packages. WTF? I just want the system and Madden.

They're charging you $100 for:

Extra Wireless Controller
Play & Charge Kit (for extra controller)
Rechargeable Battery Pack (for included controller)

and making you choose their 4 games for $200

f'ing retarded

Yeah, $600 is the base (no hard drive, not back compatible) system w/ wired controllers and like 4 or 5 games. $700 is the delux system with same games.

Yeah, I mean I'd get that stuff eventually, but I really just want madden and maybe PGR. Hell I only have one controller for my xbox now cuz I break them frequently (when I lose on xbox live :) )

That is weird. Yesterday Gamestop.com had just the system for $299 or the system+HDD for $399, but now it's all bundles. Something changed.

Aren't they only offering like $600-700 bundles right now?

I saw somewhere was offfering a $2000 one. It came with like 20 games, and a ton of accessories.

For that price I'd expect it to include an HDTV and a 5.1 system.

EB and Gamestops near me have stopped taking orders. They said they have sold out on shipments 1 and 2. Personally i'd rather get it online because the stores are retarded. THey never know what they are getting or when. I wish amazon would offer just the system like they are doing in Europe.

Just go to Best Buy or Circuit City the DAY OF. Get there a few hours before the doors open. You should be able to score an extra one ...

Or try a place less people will be at... like Target! Did you try to go to Target and get a preorder by chance??

No, I'd expect any bundle getting up that high would include something other than just games and some accessories. I'm sure with the cost of the games and all the accessories that it does end up being that much, but you know just don't see how you could market a bundle that is that expensive without something more tangible.

Because to my knowledge the hard drives aren't hotswappable. Even if they were hotswappable, this way you could take say a character or small save file like that and be able to load more than one at a time (since if you had your save on your drive and your friend had his save on his, I don't know if you could load them both at the same time).

But yeah, seems a little redundant that they even are using memory cards. Would've been much nicer if they would've just included a CF/SD slot.

The online stores are screwing people w. their Xbox 360 bundles. I just plan on buying it when it comes to the store. Even if I have to wait a couple weeks for the second shipment to come in, whatever.

i would NEVER buy one of their crappy bundles

it is just a way for them to make you pay $50 for their crappy games

at the very least the bundle should be the same except you can pick any X launch titles you want but then again I don't want their overpriced accessories either

i am going to stop by gamestop B&M this weekend to see whats going on with my preorder. I preordered one probably 1.5 months ago in store. If they tell me I have to buy some bundle for $600 or something, I'm going to buy it and Ebay it. If they let me buy the system and whatever games I want and whatever accessories I want, then I'm keeping it.

I really only want 1 (maybe 2) release games. The games I'm looking forward to are coming out a week after the release. (GOW and TW2K6).
