Hey y'all,

I was trying to connect my windows xp sp2 computer to my xbox 360 using a wireless network. After finding out that they couldn't connect to each other I called up 1-800-4my-xbox and they told me that I need to uninstall Norton Anti-virus and then connect my xbox to my pc. Then re-install norton. Is there anyway to not have to uninstall Norton?

I doubt NAV has anything to do with it. Remove or turn off any firewalls and then try again. That includes any from Norton, any from Microsoft, etc.

Is it saying that it can't find your XBox 360 when you run the media connect program? Also make sure your xbox has nobody signed on when you try to install the network connection. I had the same problem and it ended up being as simple as being signed in when you are not supposed to be.
