I have a 360 SF4 pad that I bought for when friends come over that don't like sticks. It is great.

Actually when I'm having troubles with some of the combos in trial mode, I'll hook up the pad and can usually pull it off within a few tries.

It sucks for me because I can do combo strings and stuff better on a pad but I can move and actually play better on a stick.

I recommend the pad to anyone if they can find it.

Methinks once they're cheap this is the route I'll go. Other than one or two people mentioning it not being as easy to do a <-- --> with the fight pad it seems to be pretty solid, and for me I think it'll work better.

<-- --> is easy on the pad, the lower left-upper right-lower-left forward (fei long's ultra) is what kills me... and i can't do SRK as quick as fireball

Yeah, so I randomly stopped by Best Buy this evening...and they had the Mad Catz controller in, Chun Li...and I didn't buy it. I know I could have even hocked it off on ebay for a profit or something, but I know it's gonna be a while till I play a game that uses it, figured I might pick one up used cheaper.

Wondering about this controller thing though, I just played about 2 hours of Soul Calibur 4 using the 360 controllers and my fingers are sore from the position my hand is in when using the controller...hrm. It's odd...
