yea but still think about it, 10 games is only $500-600, that means they are charging $400-500 for the core system. I think if Microsoft found out about this retail store price gouging, they wouldnt be too happy.

Games retail at $60 each (for a total of $600) and the extra controller, 64 mb memory unit, and subscription to game fly add up to an extra $100.

Thus, they're not actually jacking up the retail price of any of the items but they are taking advantage of the market nonetheless.

Here are the actual retail prices. I thought off hand that more games were actually $50, but still, this bundle should be less.

Core System: $300
Wired Controller: $40
Memory Card: $40

Games

Kameo: $50
PGR3: $60
CoD2: $60
Tony Hawk: $60
Madden: $60
NBA: $60
NFSMW: $60
Tiger Woods: $60
Ridge Racer: $60
FIFA: $60

Bundle should only cost $970. Granted its only $30, I didnt think stores (especially Toys r Us) we allowed to do this.

Whatever happened to bundles that cost less than all the pieces combined? It doesn't make sense to buy a bundle when you can have the choice of buying everything individually.

On one hand you can't blame them for trying ... the big bundles are selling out at other retailers.

On the other ... it's the CORE ... not the premium.

Big bundles with Premuim + extra hardware + 2 or 3 games I can tolorate... but this is just ToysRUs milking people.

I'd actualy rather see a ToysRUs ebay account selling a few hundred core systems.

Actually it gives you a 2month subscription to gamefly $30 and then 1 year to OXM - $25 so that's another $55

You forgot the subscription to gamefly. I don't think stores are allowed to raise the retail price that the game companies set.
