Xbox 360 controller-Windows

I barrowed a 360 controller from my firned (Corded) and now i got no clue how to connect it. I want to play Audiosurf off of it. For those of you who don't know it"s a very fun game offered from steam for only 10.00$. Steam <3, anyways... the game is like guitar hero and you move your car around on the buttons. Help me please!😕

If it's the wireless version you'll need the adapter from Microsoft but apart from that you only need the drivers listed above.

Audiosurf is pretty nice but I find the 360 controller is only suitable for the Double Vision characters and the game is nothing like Guitar Hero because it's not a rhythm game... it's based on music but the game plays like a puzzle (or action if you play mono) but not a rhythm game.

Is there config for a controller in that game? I used JoyToKey to map my keyboard functions to the 360 controller.

You could try Xpadder for mapping, I've heard lots of games automatically map now.

I don't know if you know this too but the xbox 360 wireless headsets also integrate with the wireless adapter, not sure about the wired headsets. I had no idea I thought just the controllers did but I tried it and use it with vent now.

Im thinking of grabbing one my friends Xbox 360 controllers (they are wireless). I imagine i would need some sort of adapter to go from Xbox to USB. Im also reading that for wireless you need specific adapters?

You need the wireless receiver from Xbox, I have it and it works great for the standard wireless Xbox controllers. You can also use the wireless GH3 guitar for Frets on Fire.
