So, as I break the cardinal rule, what do you suggest for a controller? Batman: AA actually came with a little Advertisement for the 360 pc edition controller. I looked on amazon and they are selling the wireless one for like $60.

What do you guys suggest?

The wired one is only $50. Wired is pretty much always better than wireless.

I used a wired 360 controller. It works great.

I used to use a PS3 controller before that, but the 360 controller is much more streamlined and easier to use. It makes playing some games a lot more enjoyable.

Mine lasted about 1 week when I still had an xbox. I ended up buying a wired charger for $10 and leaving it plugged in all the time.

What do people think about 360 controllers for PC FPS games? I hardly play games anymore, but FPS (i.e. Quake 3) were about the only game I could tolerate using mouse + keyboard.

On a whim I just tried out Goldeneye 007 (N64 game) on the Project64 emulator but it seems that playing with keyboard + mouse is hopeless for aiming/shooting. So it got me thinking what N64-like controller I could use....

Thanks :)

I used to use a wired 360 controller till my dog chewed up the right trigger.

Now I have a wireless one, but I lost the battery cage for it.

I bought a wired 360 controller that was on clearnance (damage plastic wrap). Except for the D-Pad it's really nice. I actually just use the analog stick even in games that should use the d-pad since I don't like it.
