Xbox 360 bundles in stock at Gamestop.com(Looks dead again)

Anyway, it's HIGHLY unlikley that all of us who ordered are going to have these fulfilled on 12/12, especially those who didn't order within an hour of them going live. It's still "available" as of today, a good 24 hours after the fact.

To answer an important question:

I did call GS Customer Service earlier today. The woman I spoke with said that no bundle items will ship until the 360 ships. So don't worry about receiving everything BUT the 360 prior to Xmas.
 
cancelled my order, decided i can wait since i only want to play one game out of 19 for the system right now
 
i checked the other day to see just how many Xbox 360s are for sale on ebay and it was way too many pages of them.. i wonder how many of those actually sell.. and how much the average price for each sold is... i saw outrageous prices and some selling considerably cheaper.. what i wonder is who actually sells them.. there seemed to be a lot. anyway this whole gotta have it brand new is crazy to me.. $1000 for a gaming system and a few games? screw it i'll stick to my crappy ol 1 year old (hahah now considered obsolete by some?) PC...

I pre-ordered in JULY and haven't got my system yet. This was in the local gamestop though, and not a bundle just the "premium" system. As of last Tuesday, I am 12th in line and should get it this week or next. We shall see.

This will be my last Gamestop purchase.

Seems that way. They kind of screwed me on my FEAR preorder. I preordered ~3 weeks ahead and they were supposed to send me the beta disk on overnight delivery (I paid for it). But that never showed up and I got FEAR w/ no beta disc. I wouldn't be so mad except there are special skins and stuff you can unlock w/ that disc. I called them and they said they don't have any more but they'll 'see what they can do.' bastards....
 
I ordered the $997 bundle also and hope to flip it. The page that showed the platnium system eta 11/22/05 is now showing in stock, but the play and charge kits are b.o., and call of duty 2 is back ordered too. So it looks like a good chance they will ship on 12/12/05 as advertised.
 
This Xbox thing is nuts. I saw a demo at Target and it does look cool on HDTV but I think my friend's 7800GT/A64 3500+/1GB-DDR/Audigy2 ZS/2x250GB-SATA2 combo look cooler for same games like COD2, NFS MW, Quake 4 etc. And it costed about same considering xbox 360 is about 1k.

Gamestop owns EB (Not 0wn3z but like the purchased EB a little less than a year ago)


Also I don't think Microsoft should be liable for the scratched disc issue since that's user error. It says in the manual that if you flip the console from a horizontal to vertical position (or vice versa) you should turn off the system prior to doing so. As far as I've heard, this is the only reason people's systems are scratching their discs.
 
12/7, a couple of hours after it was first posted. They shipped everything too. Even stuff that said "backordered" yesterday.
 
I want to cuss really bad right now... Oh well, congratz to you anyway.

Let us know how returning the *extra stuff* goes, if you plan to that is.
 
Mine should be here today... please update this thread if anyone else has good/bad experiences trying to return the extra junk.

You guys are funny...they only shipped the games. If you read the the agreement it states it that your items may be shipped at different times. I could be very wrong though, and for your sake I hope so.
