Well I've been calling every morning (since my last post) to the 4-5 local costco's and at first they simply said that they hadn't recieved any yet, now they say none are on order (which to me means no more are coming :( )

Best Buy and Walmart employees seem to be stashing them and buying them for themselves whenever possible. I believe Costco has expressly forbidden employees from buying them there, which is why they actually show up on shelves though they sell out quickly.

not true at my costco.

Launch day, was told required vouchers to buy. Except me and my friends were there since the night before. No vouchers were ever handed out to the public.

Recent shipment, strangely neither warehouses in San Jose got any. there distribution people must be crazy to leave the 10th largest city empty handed.

My wife works for Costco. They sent out memos to all employees that they had to sign. It said you would be dismissed (fired) if you tried to buy one or had a friend buy one for you. My wife didn't get the memo and when I tried to buy one, (my costco card says employee on the back) the head boss of the store came over and told my wife she could be fired for it. Fustrating to say the least. They had them when I was there, but I couldn't buy one! So trust me, the costco employees are not snatching them up for themselves like the other stores.
