Xbox 360 1080p update is now out for download

Ok, I give up and feel like a total retard. I don't have my 360 on a network. Where can I download this update? The link above only seems to give the details on what is patched. If someone can give me a link to download this to a CD, I would be much obliged.

I've never seen anything on Xbox.com that says you can put it on a cd and install it.

The directions say to log into live and it will prompt you, and that is it. You may want to call the Microsoft support line, they can probably help you and give you a much faster, definitive answer.

The Xbox 360 HD DVD add-on drive is going to come with a CD that includes the latest Xbox 360 update.

IIRC, one of the Microsoft execs confirmed that in a post over at the AVS Forum.

I suspect if you call tech support, they may be able to mail you one of these CDs, although I wonder if they'll ask for a shipping charge. Or perhaps they put it up for download soon I dunno.

i know with previous patches it was possible to burn them onto a cd, and to load that cd in the xbox360

I plugged in my wireless keyboard/mouse receiver and I could use my keyboard. I doubt you can use it within games though.
