XBMC question

Curious if any of you who use XBMC know of an easy way to replicate the file structure from one version of XBMC to another pc?

I've got an htpc set up in the living room using XP and XBMC. I'm thinking of upgrading the pc to Win7, and since you can't "upgrade" from XP would need to do a full install. I would rather not go through and have to set up the structure to find all the drives on my server; is there a way to export those settings?

All you need to backup is the userdata folder, under Application Data (AppData in Win7) inside your windows account profile folder.

I am about to start setting up xbmc on my desktop and slowly convert that over to htpc duties since I mostly use my laptop these days. What monitor/tv are you using with your setup?

It is hooked up to my 42" Panasonic plasma in the living room. It's connected to the server in the basement via wired ethernet.

My server is nothing special. An older Core 2 e7200 with 2gb of ram, a hauppauge single stream tv card (forget the model), an 80gb hd for OS, (2) 1TB and (1) 2TB hard drive for movies, music, and recorded television. The server runs XP pro and for the tv card I am using Snapstream BeyondTV to record.
