All right boys and girls. My 2 XBMC machine died, and new xbox's are harder and harder to come by, not to mention many of the 720p TV rips I have been downloading dont play on it. I want a new home theater solution!
It needs to pass the wife test with flying colors.
It needs to be fast (power on to movie in <minute).
It needs to be reasonably good looking (XMBC is awesome).
I need internal storage (I dont have a fileserver in my house).
It needs to be quiet/silent
It needs wired lan.
It needs remote control (via web, telnet, etc)
It needs to work with a remote of some sort without hackery.
It doesn't need to handle any inputs (nothing will feed through it) but needs to be able to play a DVD and have sane controls.
Again -- wife test.
