XB360 recessed trigger mods?

So, if there's one thing that bugs me about the XB360 controller, which I otherwise really like, it's the triggers. I can find mods to make the triggers extend out more, but is there any mod or replacement trigger out there to make them more like the PS3 default triggers, where their normal position is more like a flush L2/R2? I realize the body won't allow exactly that, but something close?

I think teh touch sensitivity kind of screws it up? They aren't so much like the shoulder buttons where there is "engaged" and "not engaged". I think the only thing you could do is make the trigger(s) more sensitive somehow.

I know, but I don't do racing or arcade mecha, no I only ever use them as buttons.

It's a cool idea. I practically only play shooters so it would be cool to have a better responding trigger...hmm...have you found any info on this yet?

I think Razer's 360 controller might be the one that has 2 pairs of shoulder buttons that you can map other buttons to.
