x850xt Crossfire Edition Power plug problem

Hey, i have a x850xt crossfire edition and eariler today it wouldent start. I could just hear the fan spin up loud and it never slowed down. I unplugged power to the card and plugged it back in, works fine. Has anyone had this problem with their cards?? ATI delayed answering my questions and now my 30 days is up and all i have is my standard warrenty. Can you RMA with the standard warrenty from ati?>\
