X850XT AGP-$200 or 6800GS PCI-E-$169

need advice on which video card to get. i could get either flavor of video card because of the shuttle system i am building.

i am wondering the same thing. x850xt holds a bit of an advantage in most games, yet 6800gs has sm3.0 which is starting to be implemented more and more. this is my concern for upcoming oblivion.

x850xt AGP $50 MIR

the x850xt is a dual slot design....a big factor in a SFF setup, go with the 6800gs

ahh..thanks..didnt know that x850 was dual slot. guess its not worth it for me. theres really no other agp card i would rather have besides that over rhe 6800GS..thanks!

You could still get the X850 and change the heatsink and fan🙂

hm...what kind of cooler thats one slot would be good on an x850? the only type of cooler i have been accustomed to were silencers and those took 2 slots. honestly id rather go with the agp setup more because id rather have the black shuttle 😛

i ask why would you go AGP unless you already have a AGP mobo installed in your Shuttle, are you still in the process of building your SFF?
