I knew TD was "on the edge" as far as MIRs and pricing errors, but this "$130 MIR" offer takes the cake as far as misleading customers!!

TD won't win any friends w/marketing like this, but at least they disclose the truth at the top of the product page. That's a lot less misleading than OP's title for this topic.

Yea OP...change the "main" title of this post. It may help TD mislead some poor sap into buying this card thinking they'll get it for $199 (after MIR).

In all fairness... the $100 "rebate" is not TigerDirect. This is 100% ATI. Not very hot -- esp since the XFire card needs to be purchased by Nov 30, 2005.

In all fairness, TD is ADVERTISING the card as if it costs $199 after MIR. The "final price" should read $299.00. Period. The $100 MIR is strictly towards the price of a second card.

Well I don't hate TD for it, it IS technically 199 and advertising as 199 draws MUCH more attention than 299. What they should have done is put the details on that second rebate on the actual page of the item.

this deal sux, first you have to buy a 2nd video card to get the discount. Not only that, your motherboard must support crossfire. How many of us have crossfire motherboard. And who the heck buy crossfire motherboard?? They should unify SLI and Crossfire so us, the consumers wont suffer because of the proprietary slots.

Technically, it's 299 unless you were planning on an xfire card as well. Otherwise it's pure garbage that they can list it like they are.

The 1st card is NOT $199.00 since the ONLY way you'll get the $100 is when you order the second card.

It'd be like going into a new car show-room to purchase a new CAR and the sales guy saying "this model comes with a $3,000 discount....all you have to do is buy a SECOND car to get the discount".

TD and their $199 advertised price is pure BS.
