wow what a total zero the OP is. Doesn't provide a link to the product, reports a dead deal (obviously cause it's 4 days after it was published on fatwallet), gives wrong information that some parts are in stock, and publicly admits to stealing it from another site. I bought the Gigabyte X850XT PE and the Power Colors.

 
I don't agree that this is a "much better" deal than the $340 7800GT. The 7800GT was 50% faster than the X850XT in some of the benchmarks. The X850XT is a bulky 2-slot solution and sucks more power. It also lacks advanced features like SM 3.0, which is a bad thing for a high end card that you would expect to keep for a couple years. It's sad to say for ATI, but this is just about what their high end card SHOULD be selling for cause if it was any more, then moving up to the 7800GT at $340 would be a no-brainer.

sm3.0 is over rated and Dells 7800GT ended. Where else can you get the 7800GT for 340 ?

Btw alot of people are getting theirs canceled. ANd the cards are removed from site. And the card that is $279 now, is only an OEM x850 PRO not XT. We, the fatwallet wh0res already killed the $249 Retail x850 xt's 🙂
