I hear a lot about vid cards not performing as well as they can because of CPU or something like that, so I was wondering if my current config is good enough for the X800XT PE. Thank everyone!

Should be fine with your system. It might be bottlenecked a little but its probably not noticeable.

im thinkin its pretty bottlenecked... check some of the benchmarls for say doom3... a64 does have much greater performance... but it shouldnnt be too horrible...

I get approximately 60fps on doom 3 on 1280*1024 on ultra graphics. Sometimes the fps drops to 44fps but mostly stays @ 61-62fps w/ AA 2x and AF 8x w/ temporal aliasing on. Is there a benchmark for doom3 that I can dl??? can you give me link??? Thanks

I just ran the benchmark on my doom3 and got 57fps @ 1028*768 w/ 2x AA and 8x AF, is that normal?

How much ram do you have? You didn't state the sizes.

Also what mobo?
