X800XT Flash bios?

I got my x800xt for x-mas and I have tested it up to 540/570 core/memory speeds. What would be the benefits of flashing it up to an XTPE bios? I really don't know what it would do. Just make the default speeds 520/560?

Another question, I got the ati silencer 4 on the way and I have a question. My card runs kinda hot in ATITool @ about 70C when doing the 3d box thing, and my core maxs at 545 and my memory goes to like 572 and then I get some errors. With better cooling is it possible to go higher? Like when I install the ati silencer can I keep going beyond 540/570

Unless you can afford to lose a X800XT and not care, why OC such a high end, stellar card and risk it?

I have an X800XT PE, and I can tell you w/o hesitation that if it were a X800XT, I would never OC it. There isn't enough benefit, and losing a card that good would be pretty tragic.

If someone was nice enough to give you one for Christmas, don't be a doofus and wreck their nice present.
