Ok here is the Deal:

I got my brand new shrink wrapped X800XT All-In-Wonder Yesterday.
Like I do when switching cards everytime, same procedure:
1) Uninstalling the old drivers of the old card
2) Restarting and looking that the old drivers are gone
3) Shuting off the PC
4) Removing the card and installing the new one
5) turning the PC on and installing drivers
Till now- This Procedure worked like a charm.

Yesterday, oddly enough, reaching stage 5, when Windows XP started, it recognized new hardware VGA Controller but when I pressed "Cancel" it would just keep poping up everytime (I wanted to install the newest drivers that I downloaded from the net).
Well I let the screen be, and I just kept on installing the new drivers I downloaded from ATI's site.
After finishing, first I had a problem with Microsoft's .NET framework, that the windows update found for some reason my Win XP copy was not valid, then when downloading the .NET 1.1 framework file, it had an error while installing.

I restarted, installed the .NET Framework successfully, and continued with installing the ATI drivers.

Finishing, and thinking all was fine, I went on to check the performance in games- none would start. I would double-Click and they wouldn't start. Other then that, the card showed AGP on 0, and the card drivers and harware manager stated the card in working on PCI (W-T-F?).
I re-installed the drivers (now I used the original CD), and then installed the drivers I downloaded (to update), and now it works...
But still, it shows PCI!!!

In Counter-Strike Source, playing @ 1280x1024, x2 AA, x4 AF, all details on high, I get about 60FPS-120FPS. It's ok? (This pc is the "LeToy 64" in my signature).

Thank you.

When installing the AIW card, the reason it keeps on popping up to install something... is because there are like a dozen components it installs. Keep pressing cancel long enough and it will stop.

I didn't have any driver problems (previous card was 9800pro). I just installed the latest Omega drivers, then finished with any missing drivers with what was on the CD.

What was your previous video card? Sounds like you had a LOT of problems installing... Maybe there's other problems with your windows? who knows. Anyway, you got it working. :)

Mine works great! (not very happy with the TV reception). How is your TV reception? Tried it yet?

For you questions ;) :

On this PC (my best one) the previous card was 6800GT (that got fried), then gainward would not replace it, I bought an XFX 6600GT for the meanwhile, and then I got this X800XT AIW. So the 6600GT will move to another PC.
I don't think the installation is that good. it seems unstable in games.
Where can I get the Omega drivers? Why should I get them? BTW for now I don't use any features of the AIW card now (video in/out, tv Etc..) cause i'm moving and everything is a mess.

I think I might have some other problems with windows.
First of all, I couldn't get my nVidia RAID utility to work and raid my 2 HD's. And I did it with a professional computer tech person.
Second, I have with something called "Other PCI Bridge Device" and "SM Bus Controller" in my device manager.
I have a MSI Neo2 Platinum Mobo.

How can I upload a picture for you to see?
