Weird, if i press refresh, it says "unable to locate"
but if I close all my IE boxes, and open it again, the item will be there again! WTF!
 
Not hot, unless you're willing to wait a month. Who knows, by then 6800GTs might be reduced to a $299 MSRP...

It'd be a great deal if it wasn't a preorder. Hopefully it does mean those who ordered back in early January will get their orders soon...I'm not going to hold my breath though.
 
I'd like to jump on this deal, but if I build my new computer now, I won't get that damn card for a month? Anyone have to wait this long?

They definitely jacked up the shipping cost. I had an order I placed in the beginning of Feburary without the coupon code as they wouldn't let me use it even though it wasn't the same code that was being passed around (had some friends and family one). Well, I just finished placing another order online where I was able to use the code but standard shipping is now double what I originally paid.
 
Anyone call and ask why the are available for Pre-order again when so many people are waiting for a month to get the last batch... It's gotta be sooner than end of March...

ATI did that with the x800 XT PE cards last year. I waited 2.5 months before cancelling because they pushed back the date by 2 more months in November (estimated January). And guess what, virtually no one got cards in January either.

I got an x800 XL order in right before it was yanked again. 😀 It's a good price, so we'll see next month.

This pissed me off to no end. When they released the announcement of this card on 12-1 they said it would be on the shelves before the holiday season. At the time a lot of nVidia fan boys said that ATI was just doing this to try cut nVidia Christmas sales, I was didn't believe it. Well I believe it now. I have been a long time supporter of ATI cards, and after yesterday I have vowed to never buy another card of theirs. I know I am just one man at that they could care less about me, but they have lost a fan/customer. I don't care how good of a deal the x800XL is, I will never own one.

I got in on it. Want to build a new computer in march, so the delay is perfect for me.

Search on fatwallet for X800 and you'll find it.
 
Just to help you guy's out. IF there is a COMPUSA near you it is $299 there and they will have some on Monday. They cant put them on the web till monday but the store near me is getting them on Friday and ill have mine then!!! If you talk to the people at your store (not easy to get ahold of) ask for business services and tell them you want one when it comes in (most store's will have them FRIDAY) GOOD LUCK!

Is this a dual dvi version? I couoldn't tell from the specs on their site.

Crap! I missed it. It's VGA and DVI. Man, I need two dvi ports. Do you think it will make a differerence or should I look for a dual dvi version?

you'll probably have to pay more, I think PowerColor's X800XL has dual DVI and VIVO...
