X800XL or 6800GT for BF2?

Which card performs better in this game? I'll be playing at 1280x1024 and 1280x960 and I need 4xAA and 8xAF.

edit: I am selling this system off. That's why I will need a new card.

MY 800XL wont to 4X AA 8X AF at that resolution. I still need to update my drivers though but its relative choppy but might work with 2GB ram. dunno yet. BY next week I might have 2GB ram and see how the 800XL performs.

My friend and I both play this game
He just got an X800XL, and I have a 6800GT @ Ultra, the GT runs it a little better, (his is not overclocked) but both run the game well overall... give the edge to the nV though.

What I really need to get is a 7800GTX. I want to be able to run it maxed out. Right now I run it with everything on medium.

Wait for the 7800GT maybe? Otherwise go with a 6800GT

I can't speak for the X800XL, but I just bought a 6800GT and it's doing even better than I anticipated.

I run at 1600x1200 with high settings (dynamic shadows and dynamic lighting are set to medium). Without 4x AA I get between 50 and 60 fps. When I turn on 4x AA I get 45 - 55 fps with an occasional drop into the high 30's.

I run an exhaust fan below the GPU and I never feel it blowing hot air, so I presume the card is running cool. Of course, my case has two front intakes and a total of 3 exhausts, so it's a tad loud, but I certainly don't have heat problems!

Anywho, I'm quite happy with my purchase. It was more expensive than the 800XL, but whatever.
