The Powercolor X800XL has a molex connector. I think it may be the only X800XL with one.

My motherboard is powered by a 300watt Antec psu, would I be able to run a x800xl in my system?

it will eat up a little more power that your 9800...but it should work ok...300 is pretty low for any P4 based system though...

It will most probably work. Unless you are overclocking.
And AFAIK, only the PowerColor model has a molex connector for the PCI-e X800XL.

I heard the power consumption is around the same as a 9700, which I was glad to hear. May want to check out rage3d for a definitive answer.
