that was only a concern for about an entire day, considering the error was corrected fairly soon after it was discovered.

Nice VIVO options on that card. Hopefully the price will quickly drop to that of the PCI-E version.

Same here.

Was really interested in it. With all these paper launches recently, I didn't think this w/b available this soon.

No biggie. I'll just keep repeating to myself "I've got SM3.0, I've got SM3.0"... ;)

Whatever works for you - but I'm not sure I would be calling the suicide hotline if I didn't have an SM3.0 card. :)

Hmm, I wonder if I should sell my X800 Pro and move up to one of these? I'll bet I could use the extra pipelines with my 2005FPW on the way (higher resolution gaming than on my 19" CRT)...

Yep, that settles it. I put my Gigabyte X800 Pro up for sale in FS/FT. I want an XL.

Well your 6800GT does slightly outperform the X800XL..

$70 bucs isn't TOO much, so you shouldn't feel bad about your purchase.

Any word on how these cards overclock yet? I'd like to get one and run it at 500/500 with an ATI Silencer if necessary.

Agreed, I think if I was in the market right now for an AGP video card I would go with the X800XL, but it really depends on how long you've had your 6800GT. I got mine back in July for $409, so I don't feel bad about it all.

Average on air cooling should be between 430 and 440. X800XL wont get to 500mhz without some serious volt modding and watercooling. The ram already comes clocked at 490 so getting to 500 should not be a problem. I bet you could get 1130ish. The performance difference in games when overclocked wont be that high however. You can check this review here: x800xl review

Thanks for the links guys. My guess is that the extra pipes on the XL more than makes up for the 50ish MHz core speed on my Pro.
