That's not true. Both the PCI-E version and the AGP version have 16 pipes.

it's the X850 Pro that has the 12 pipes and higher core clock than the X800XL.

see the Anand review from back in Nov/Dec?!? that was the stinker for it's price point at the time.

LOL...idiot...he was probably thinking about the X800 line of cards...the AGP version of X800XL is pretty much identical to the X800 PCI-E, it just has the PCI-E to AGP bridge
