I'm about to buy a video card for my computer and was wondering which video card would be best bang for the buck. The price of the 128meg (gddr2) is 109.99$ AR and the 256 (gddr3) is 139.99$ AR. Which one would you guys get? Spend the extra 30$ and get the extra ram or save 30$? LMK. Thanks.

Although the GDDR2 will probably overclock quite nice, the GDDR3 will have the most potential of course... If you don't mind spending the extra 30 bucks, I'd too get the 256MB version... The extra 128MB make a difference as well sometimes...

Simple mathematics... 12 pixel pipelines running at 400MHz (and can be overclocked to ~500MHz) versus 8 pixel pipelines running at 500MHz (OC is usually around 570MHz or below)... Add to this a 256-bit memory bus at 1000MHz (compared to the 128-bit 1000MHz of the 6600GT), and you should realise that the X800GTO is a lot more powerful...

This is all just theoretically of course... There are reviews to prove the real world difference...
