ok, first off i had an old geforce3ti200. i uninstalled the drivers for it and installed catalyst 4.6. the whole computer was running fine except the fact that the card only got a 28,800 in aquamark. At that point i decided to reformat. After the format, i installed 4.6 again and got a 25,000 in aquamark. Then i uninstalled catalyst and installed omega. I ran the test a final time and got around 25,000 again in the benchmark. I just formatted again, and i was curious if the nvidia chipset of the mobo would have anything to do with this. Also, does anyone have any ideas as to why the motherboard is only giving me half performance?? everyone else that have similar boxes that i have talked to is scoring 45,000+ in aquamark.

can anyone find ATI's customer service number that doesnt cost money??

post the stats of your rig. If you were running a Ti4200 then your system is probably fairly old as far as gaming machines go. It might be that your system is the bottleneck

His rigs are in his sig ;) He's running a A64 3400+ w/1gb ram so he isn't very bottlenecked either.

What resolution is AQ3 running@? Could you link the project you submitted so I can have a look?

i am a retard...chipset driver was the issue. but then my internet cut out in the upgrade of my audigy 2 zs platinum...hosed my c drive up somehow and now i am formatting for the 4th time in 24 hours. Before creative hosed me tho, the aquamark was 53,000. So i know it was the chipset driver and how to fix it. thanks for all the help anyways :)
