The only difference between these 2 cards is the cooling system, core and memory speeds, correct?

Are there any benchmarks comparing the X800 XT PE to the newer X850 XT (non PE)? Supposedly the X800 XT PE should be slightly faster as it has a faster memory clock (560 compared to 540) but any benchmarks around to prove it?

There are quite a few reviews of the X850XT PE out there. Here is one from Xbit labs that has the X850XT PE and the X800XT together. The X800XT PE performs just a little faster than the X800XT so you can extrapolate from the performance shown in the review.

All the reviews I've read have stated that the difference between the two cards is minimal, somewhere around 2-4% with the X850XT PE coming out on top.

x850XT PE > x800XT PE, but buy whichever is cheapest. My x850XT PE just happened to be cheapest at the time.
