X800 XL PROBLEM

I just got a Connect3D X800 XL PCI-E last week.
After using it for almost a week, I notice there are something strange happening to my computer.
Whenever I play games(CS:S & BF2) and using some benchmark software (3Dmark & PerformanceTest), sometimes I can hear some "DING" noise (the windowsxpding.wav one).
But, there are no error message or anything being displayed, just the noise.
I tried to installed different ver. of driver (5.6, 5.7, 5.8), but the problem is still here.
At last, what I'm doing is assign no sound to the "windows default beep", so there will be no noise.
I'm kinda worry about if there's a hardware problem.
I know there are something happening in the background, but what is it?
Any bro has heard of the same problem or know what it is?

My spec:
A64 3200+ S939
MSI Neo 4 Platinum
Mushkin value 1G
C3D X800xl pci-e

for the drivers you have, did you download the catalyst control center or the catalyst control panel

if you have the control center, you need .net.

The only thing that I can think of is that there's something running in the background making that noise. Also, was it an upgrade? If it was, and if you were previously using NVIDIA hardware, that could also be the problem.

The only things that I'm running at background are antispyware and antiviris.....
And, I was using Ati card before this card.....

Hmm... Maybe you should reinstall Windows. I know everything should go fine in theory with upgrading, but in my past experience, including moving from a GF FX5700U to my current 6800GT, a reinstall is the best option. I just can't think of anything that could be causing this weird problem.
