Hi,

I recently sold my x800 pro and picked up a bfg 6800gt oc that comes with doom3 🙂
but im getting only 30 fps on timedemo demo1 1 on 1280x1024 with 4xAA /8xAF

i uninstalled all my old ati drivers and used driver cleaner b4 installin the 61.77's

i dont understand why its so low?

DId you cache the timedemo.... also did you make sure all the settings in the Nvidia control panel are turned to performance or App Controlled?

Also you should use the 65.76 drivers as they enable the h/w encoder decoder on chip and improve performance all around.

Um there is no znf3-150GB; nforce3 150 GB chipset doesn't even exist and chaintech doesn't even use the 250 GB in their zenith 250.

If it doesn't exist, then why can you filter Nforce 3 150s at Newegg?
I think he's saying that the nForce3 150 Gb doesn't exist, not the nForce3 150.

Even though you have a 6800 GT you might try running at 1024x768 turn off the anti aliasing or set it to 2 and the anisotropic filtering off. Really bump maps on the floor + anisotropic filtering look like crap. Looks better with no anisotropic filtering. I get a score if like 83.5
Run the timedemo two times in a row also. Only the second score is valid.
