X800 Pro 256MB VS 9800 Pro

Would the X800 be worth the extra ~$200? That's pretty high for me, but I'm more than willing to pay for it...

The rest of my system is as follows:
Gygabyte K8vnxp Socket 754
600w PSU
AMD64 3400+ 1024 cache, 1600MHz, Socket 754
1GB PC3200 RAM
WD 36GB 10k RPM SATA for OS
WD 200GB 7.2k RPM SATA for assorted files
WinXP Home

Should I get the X800 Pro?

it will perform much better. i would reccomend it.
however, if you feel like better performance than the 9800pro without the price of the x800pro, you could go with either a 6600GT (which are just now coming onto the market) or a 6800. either one will offer much better performance than the 9800pro with much lower pricing than the x800pro. if you look around, you should be able to find a 6800 for $250 or so, which is not much more than the 9800pro.
also, is that just some generic psu? if so, i would reccomend a Fortron 530W PSU instead - it will provide MUCH more stable voltages and better overclocks if you ever feel like it.
