Hasn't the NDA expired 5 minutes ago, where are all the benchmarks?

Edit, Here they come.

Farcry barely uses PS3.0 at all, so I doubt that will help very much.

The consensus seems to be that ATI has done it again, particularly with it's low power consumption and single slot design.

The 6800 Ultra Extreme with it's faster clock wasn't even enough, apparently.

The reviewers shouldnt use DX9.0c, or the the 3.0 version of Farcry. Why? Because we cant. Personally I dont think reviewers should use drivers we cant get either, or any version of a game or software that we cant. Unless its as a seperate "preview" of things to come, but not in a review.

You seem to be holding onto the dream that DX9.0c and the 3.0 version of Farcry will save the 6800U's performance in it. You may be setting yourself up for disappointment.

Im not saying its going to be a miracle difference and the 6800 is going to stomp ati... Im saying it would increase its far cry performance.

From what i can see in the reviews, its dead even until AF is applied.

No doubt both cards will improve over time.

I am just amazed at what ATI has accomplished with the R420. The total package, I mean.

I really think NV and Intel are dropping the ball lately, they arent putting enough emphasis on silicon technologies to make their chips take off. Imagine a Geforce 6800 or P4-E on low-k or SOI.

What difference does it make? It's not like we can get these cards yet either.
