specs below, plus 5400 ata/33 hdd. in the video option menu in the game the AA and AF settings are suggested at low or none. yet a month ago while setting up my new system i used a friends newer ata 133 hdd and i was able to max out AA and AF.
but now with my old school hdd if i set AA or AF to 2x certain effects in the game are just static snow.
does the game auto detect what my hdd can do and not allow me to use higher settings? or if i do set higher it just can not process it.
what else would cause this? im sure when i used a new hdd i was able to set to max. i know i know, next month, july i will be able to get new hdd
