X79 GD45 Plus Boot Problem

Hi,

I'm using X79 GD45 Plus motherboard. I'm the testing of VMware products at home and fiber channel card in my own environment. I was using earlier Z77-GD45 motherboard and I could use my fiber insert cards on this motherboard without problems. I want to upgrade my system and I purchased the X79 GD45 model. But when I connect fibre channel card on motherboard PC will not turn on. Black remains on the screen and cannot enter the bios. This card was working on the other motherboard (Z77-GD45).

When I remove fibre card, it's normally working.

What is the problem?

My BIOS version: 17.9
Processor: Intel Xeon 2670 sandy bridge
My card: Qlogic QLE2464

Have you tried different slots? List your Full system, makes it easier to help you. What are your SATA settings on ACHI,RAID, or IDE? Have you tried all the settings?
