x64 Ati driver problem

Ive got the trial version of x64 installed. I tried installing the ati x64 drivers twice for my 9700 pro. THe problem is that the advanced display settings arent there like they usually are for ati, like the 3d settings, etc. What is causing this?
 
I'm running WinXP Pro x64 (OEM version) with my 9800Pro without any problems. Using the lastest x64 drivers from ATI website. There are default drivers for the Radeon that ship with WinXP x64.

The trial version of WinXP x64 also ran fine with the drivers off the Ati website.
 
right but does the ati control panel work? im thinking that ati hasnt released a control panel for x64 yet, only a driver
