Yep with a huge whopping 5% clock for clock advantage and a multiplier so low you that you might be lucky to hit 3.2-3.4Ghz. Oh wait... We can already exceed that with G0's. :D

Honestly, I WAS waiting for Penryn until I found out the multipliers and reduced cache on the lower end C2Q's. :thumbsdown:

That is exactly why i went with the X3220.

The reduced cache and low multis on the penryns will suck, and $500 for a chip is too much.

What did your old B3 run at with 1.4v?

I just upgraded to water cooling and am testing things out now... I am set to 1.48v BIOS, 1.38v Windows (EIST & Speed Step) and under load am at 1.43v. Currently, Large FFT brings my hottest core to 66c in 22c ambient... I am pretty happy so far as everything seems stable. I did run into an issue where P95 would actually fail in the exact same place when I was one notch higher in voltage... I dropped it down and has been running great.
