i just downloaded cpuid hardware monitor, after checked my new x3 720 processor . under cpu it stated " AMD phenom II 920 BE" ya should check it out. 😀
every other software recognized it as x4 20 processor. but what cpuid hardware software stated is rather new.
Not to difficult to figure out - if you've enabled the 4th core, the CPU looks like a "9"-series cpu instead of a "7"-series. Though family/model/stepping should dictate otherwise along with the CPU string.
could it possibly be that the 720be 4core = x4 920 BE phototype ? 😀 i got my 4th core unlock and test it at 3.5ghz and do many individual core test and it work just fine. system even rocognize it as a workable core, the only thing is when i used AMD overdrive. after it boost up the multiplier above 16 + over 220 bus the #2 core got black number. #0 work #1 work #2 = 100000 mulitplier #3 work. funny .
