where did you see that? 1000 Ghz is the bus frecuency of Ht on both of them.

I guess you make a mistake and read the operating frecuency of the 3800 (that is, 2000 Mhz or 2.0 Ghz)

OMG, i got it like less than 2 months ago too

I suggest using CPU-Z to see CPU information, it will show you ifits E4 or E6:

(look at the left menu, at the top you can find "software")

I guess E4 and E6 is shown in the "Revision" line.
