First off I'll list my system specs.
X2 7750
Biostar TA790GX A2+
2 x 2Gb Gskill DDRII 1066
Radeon 4670
Antec 400W PSU
Vista 64
I had been running this system for awhile with an X2 5000BE overclocked and DDRII 800 with out any problems. I than installed the X2 7750 and DDRII 1066 and managed to overclock it to 3.2Ghz with 1.45V. The system passed several hours of stability testing in AMD Overdrive(I did overclock in BIOS) it also ran flawless for several days. Than one day it just wouldn't boot up, so I upped the voltage to 1.5V and managed to get into windows but it wasn't fully stable.
I than got 3.0Ghz running stable with 1.36V and have run at that speed for nearly a month now. Now today windows loaded but I've been having instability problems and while trying to play games my computer crashes and restarts. I upped the cpu Vcore to 1.45 and my computer quit crashing, but I've still got games crashing. To sum it up I can't seem to get 3.0Ghz to run stable any more.
CPU temp rarely reached 50C even while gaming, never saw it go past 55C. I've got the latest drivers and BIOS for my motherboard.
I'm honestly beginning to think there is something wrong with my cpu but at the same time I'm worried it could be the motherboard.
If anyone has any idea what is happening with my computer I would appreciate it.
