My X2 3800+ from Newegg arrived today! It's an 0605, but I can't test it until after I get back home later. Anyone have any overclocking results with 0605 X2's? I've heard the 06xx X2's are some of the best overclocking ones yet, but I'm sceptical until I get to test mine out.

Yeah! My day will be great.

Haha.

0605 ____

Also, give us a picture or EVERYTHING on the IHS.

Batch number [wafer number] is important too..

Well, seems I was a little hasty and forgot to get the other info. Oh well!

What is a safe load temp for the CPU? Topping out at 44C stock on a Ninja.

I reapplied the ceramique, and also got a gander at the numbers. It's an 0605 GPMW.

3800+ x-2 is safe anything under 60C recommended daily use you dont want it to go over 53C on a warm day. So if yours is 42C id say you are in the clear =P

Very very nice.

You'll likely get 2.8 GHz outta her if you bump up vcore later.
