Hey I was poking around at graphics cards and I found this! It's the x1900 all in wonder for $265 shipped from page computers. That seems like an unreal price and I'm trying to justify it to myself. First of all, can anyone compare this card to other cards in the x1k series (x1800xl, x1800xt, x1900gt, x1900xt). I got these specs on the x1900 series off ati.com:
Radeon X1900 XTX
650 MHz
1.55 GHz
Radeon X1900 XT
625 MHz
1.45 GHz
Radeon X1900 CrossFire Edition
625 MHz
1.45 GHz
Radeon X1900 GT
575 MHz
1.2 GHz
Where does the all in wonder card fit in there? And shoudl I take advantage of getting the x1900 all in wonder? Has anyone bought that card and willing to give me a review?

i haven't bought it but i'm planning to.Infact it would be a better buy than the x1900 gt cause it has all pixel shaders and pipes. With a 3rd party cooling solution like the arctic accelero x2 u could get it to run at x1900 xt speeds.
And it's not meant to be a gaming card but if u do what i say,it'll be worth every penny, and u can watch tv too.
And it costs around $370.Stock clocks are 500/1000.

Here is a review from Anandtech. Review Looks like it doesn't do very good. The 1800xt does alot better with most games.

yeah, I can see that the x1800xt performs a lot better in most cases redbox...thanks for the link. Hardwareking: click on my link in the OP to see where I saw the x1900xt for $265 shipped. From what I've seen, the vf900 outperforms the accelero x2 in all aspects except noise. I also noticed that the core clock and memory clock on the x1900 all in wonder are significantly less than x1800xt. You say you can overclock it up to that? That would be 100mhz on the core and 525mhz on the memory...hard to do from what I've seen.

the x1900 AIW would perform better than the x1900gt but less than the x1900xt. o redbox it's supposed to be more of a media card not a gaming card, thats why they clocked it so slow which is why it performs less than the x1800. it depends on if you want to watch tv and do multimedia things on your computer if so then go for it.

I wonder what type of memory these come with if it is 1.2ns then I think you can safefly overclock to 1600. You may need to up the volts though, which you can do through ATI's software. If you are wanting gaming then an 1800xt or that 1800xl with 512 of memory would be a good choice. If you want mulitmedia then go for the 1900AIW.

FYI the 1800xl 512mb version is going for 199 at zipzoomfly I think. There is a link in Hot Deals for it. They also talk there about overclocking to the xt levels because they have the same memory and the cores aren't that far off.

EDIT: Here it the link to that 1800xl 512mb Link
