Hi,
I'm thinking of getting the ATI X1950XTX 512MB and while looking for reviews I realized that there are a lot of manufactorers that make them...
I was wondering, what the different between the Gigabyte, Asus, Sapphire, Gcube and Connect3D cards and which one is the best ?? I'm using Gigabyte GA-965P-DQ6 mobo if thats matter...
Please help me out here as I want to order it ASAP !!
Thanks !!!!

Basically... the differences are minor. All those brands are using the same ATI chip, etc... what happens is, diff. manufacturers might slightly adjust clock speeds. But the big difference is warranty. eVGA has built a reputation for having the most outstanding warranty around, plus they do the step-up program. BFG (like eVGA) also has a lifetime warranty (I think). Others only have a 3 year warranty, or other length.

So basically... the differences are less in the card and more in the support. They'll all perform just about equally well.

Good thoughts bunny head, but eVGA and BFG make Nvidia cards. :)
I know Sapphire has a pretty good warranty, and Gigabyte is known for it's cooling solutions (although i'm not sure about the x1950xtx Gigabyte).

So should I get the cheapest one I can find? I mean, considering they all have the same support and Warranty...the Connect3D is cheap, the others are like $50 more expensive (in Israel)...
Is there any advantage buying the Gigabyte card just because I'm using their mobo (and case actually :) I just got the 3DAurora 570 ) ??
Which one would you pick ?
Thanks !!!!

I'd go for the cheapest one, most have 1-3 year warranties. I dont know if Powercolor has an X1950XTX, but their X1900 products carried a lifetime warranty

Looks like Mr. happy is right.

Here is a link to a review on this website. There is no xtx listed in the bench marks on the first page, but it's listed along with the xl page 6 and up (at least, i haven't read it all)
http://www.anandtech.com/showdoc.aspx?i=2821&p=4

I got the xtx myself, but thats because i was ready to buy the 8800 GTX but due to a long story i'm not now, so i jumped on the XTX becuase it's the most powerfull non G80 (8800 GTs/GTX) card on the market, but not by that much it seems. I am still happy becuase i'm not look for other upgrades and it's the best looking GPU i've ever seen.

Yep, if you notice I also said x1950XT which is even faster then the 1900xt for 269.00$ it's a steal. If you can get a descent overclock it could match a 1950XTX.

Well, as I mentioned before, I'm from Israel bro...and in here, the prices are almost the same, the X1900XT 512MB cost here like $550 (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) but because I'm working at a Computer Store, I got the X1950XTX for the same price...the difference is so minor it doesn't worth buying the XT !!!
And for the good news, after reading your replies, and understanding that the Asus/Gigabyte/Connect3D etc are all the same (well, warranty is different) I ordered the Asus X1950XTX 512mb !!!
So now my new MoNsTeR is almost done, still got to order the memory...my specs are:

Gigabyte 3DAurora 570 - Black
Intel Conroe E6600
Gigabyte GA-P965-DQ6
ATI X1950XTX 512MB
Maxtor 200GB (no raid for now)

I decided to go with Mushkin 2x1GB DDR2 800mhz PC2-6400 ( 4-4-3-10 !!! )
B-U-T...
The dealer in Israel doesn't have them in stock and he doesn't think he'll have it anytime soon so I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO !!!!!!!!!!!!
They all are offering me the G.Skill 800mhz HZ, I know they are amazing but the Mushkins are better right ?!!
Any help will be appraciated.
BTW, my new PC cost in Israel something like $2400 w/o screen and stuff....F**king expensive isn't it ?!!!
