Are these cards just as hot and bulky as their predecessor or do they just occupy one slot? I want to upgrade my graphics card very soon without having to upgrade my mobo and cpu until after February, as I have a mATX motherboard now with very little spare real estate. Thanks.
 
Hmm, thanks. Is there a close single slot card alternative or am I better served waiting until I get my new mb and cpu?
 
I think the BEST single card solution out right now would be the 7950gt. While its a good performer, it doesn't match the x1950xtx in performance
