This card is supposed to be the 80nm replacement for the midrange cards (X1900GT).

I Googled it and a question came to my mind...I saw that it came up with sites stating it was AGP and some saying it was PCI-e. Could this be like the 7600GT and they are making both models? Or are some of these just rumors and it is not AGP?

Either way this looks like a killer card for either platform given its ~$200 from what I've heard.

I too have heard statements for AGP and pci-e. The way I see it is this: it won't be only agp b/c it is xfire capable. It won't be only pci-e b/c ATi doesn't have a new agp offering that has a lot of power. This card will smoke the x850xt if it is in fact agp as well. Maybe if I put my build off untill mid october, I'll get this card instead of the planned x1900xt 256mb... save a bit of $$$ and not have to upgrade the cooler.

probably pcie with an agp bridge chip stuck on, like some of the single board-maker agp parts have been. and if there are enough PCIe channels available, you might be able to do x-fire on a single board with an agp bridge chip. perhaps.

Snakexor stated he found the AGP part in the Best Buy computer system with an end of Oct release date.
