x1800xt or x1900xt @ 1920x1200

I have a 2405FPW and purchasing a new system with an AMD Athlon X2 4200+ and 2gig of ram. I don't really want to go the SLI or Crossfire route due to the costs involved so I am trying to decide between a x1800xt or x1900xt.

I have been playing WoW for awhile I know the x1800xt can handle easily but, I am going to play around with EQ2 again and a few other games. I would like to play at 1920x1200 even if I have to turn the graphics down a little. Can this be done with the x1800xt? Will I notice a big difference between the x1800xt and x1900xt to justify the extra cost? I am kind of hoping to get away with using the x1800xt until the DX10 cards are out but, would go for the x1900xt if it meant being able to play games at 1920x1200 until then.

I think the x1900xt would be needed if you want to play all the new games that are gonna come out @ 1920x1200 with details turned up. Plus the market is flooded with them so shouldn't be so hard to find a good deal on one anyhow.

Also, there are many, many more X1900 Master cards out there than there are X1800XT Master cards. You're better off with the X1900XT.

Xfire imo is not worth it with x1900xt cards, just look at benchmarks. If you wanna go duel cards get 2x7900gt's and volt modd them
