hi guys.. been playing with my new ati x1800 xt. have a strange problem...

in ati ccc... overdrive section, it is not showing my current clock speeds.
just shows my requested clocks. where it is supposed to show current, it just shows mhz...weird.

i have used the overdrive slider to overclock, and im running stable at max... 690 - 800

i got a 3dmark05 score of 8907

what could be causing my current clocks in ccc to not show??

is my 3dmark05 about right??

Also... if i use ati tool to increase my fan speeds to keep temps down on my xt, is there a problem with that.. is it bad for the card to run at 50-60% all the time??

thanks for any input... much appreciated

Use another program like ATI tool. That has tighter timing on the memory and should tell you the exact clocks.

CCC Overdrive is not showing my current clock speeds, only my requested clocks... anyone have any ideas??

Do CCC Overdrive settings load automatically, every time windows loads?? OR do i need to open ccc, load the profile with the overdrive settings and activate? or.... what is the best way to do this??

If i wanna increase my fan speeds to keep it cool while gaming...use ati tool to set, then close. will this cancel out my ccc overdrive settings???

BEST WAY TO OVERCLOCK THE XT??
