X1300 Pro

lol will this card have the grunt to make 512 useful? i doubt it. its like that 512mb version of the 6200 or whatever it was.

4 pipe lines and 550Mhz core. 500Mhz mem and 128bit bus. will it even be faster than the 9800pro ?!

How stupid...But the worst part about the card is that it only has 4 pipelines. I would have thought that by the next generation, entry-level cards would have 8 pipelines. At only 4 pipelines, cards like the 6600 GT from this generation will easily defeat it, assuming Nvidia and their partners continue to manufacture them. This card will probably be over $100 when it is finally released, and by that time, I can see the 6600 GT being around $100, maybe a little bit more. How stupid. It seems like ATI is making nothing but mistakes anymore.

They are probably giving it 512 mem because for the buyer who dont know anything will think...hmmmm....I can get a vga card with 512 memory for the same price of a 256 memory card.

This is a budget card, bud. The 512mb memory is most likely a mistake.

This card is supposed to be around 9800XT/6600GT level performance wise. Either that or Dave Baumann took me for a ride, lol. 😀

DISCLAIMER: Wait for the card to be launched and reviews to come out before making any decisions. 😉
